Dallas Hodge Band 1:00 – 2:00

Dallas Hodge was born in 1954 in Detroit Michigan. He started playing the guitar at age 13. He went on to lead several bands over the next few years and finally teamed up with his brother Catfish Hodge in 1970 as the Catfish Hodge Band, recording several albums together. In 1978, he moved to Santa Cruz, California where he met and teamed up this time with legendary guitarist Steve Marriott of Humble Pie fame.
In the year 2000, he was offered the task of fronting the legendary band Canned Heat, one of the headliners at the original Woodstock Festival. Known for such hits as “Lets Work Together,” “Goin Up The Country” and “On The Road Again”. No longer fronting the band, Dallas has stepped up his efforts and pushed on with his own career, and with his own style of Motor City Rockin Rhythm and Blues.

PETE ANDERSON 12:00 – 12:45

Pete Anderson is a multi-platinum, Grammy Award-winning producer and groundbreaking guitarist, who melds blues and country to forge a style all his own.  Long considered one of the world’s best-of-the-best Tele-twangers, musical pioneer Pete Anderson has never been satisfied with maintaining the status quo. The last 10 years has found Anderson focusing on his solo career – perfecting his craft & honing his musical vision. On “BIRDS ABOVE GUITARLAND” the Detroit native Anderson delivers a set of all-original music – a rich roots music gumbo of blues/funk/swing/country twang with a splash of surf music and a dash of jazz. And TONE – always tone…”  Pete Anderson is most widely known as the musical partner to Dwight Yoakam, (a little ‘side project’ that wound up helping to change the face of contemporary country music!) whose records he produced/arranged/and played on from 1986-2003 resulting in sales of 25 Million+ recordings. Anderson is well known as a pioneer in the roots-rock genre and was an early champion of the Americana movement, where he had a hand in introducing the world to artists such as Lucinda Williams, Jim Lauderdale, Michelle Shocked and Rosie Flores. He is also a renowned band-leader who has appeared on “Saturday Night Live”, “David Letterman” , and “The Tonight Show” (19 times since 1986) and has played over 3,000 live shows in upwards of 15 countries around the world.

Rae Gordon 11:00 – 11:45

2014 MUDDY AWARD WINNER, BEST FEMALE VOCALIST (Cascade Blues Association),
Rae Gordon Band performances are not only a show, but a celebration, as Gordon follows the policy that a stranger is just a friend you haven’t met…yet.
“Add equal parts of Janis Joplin’s pain, Aretha Franklin’s soul and Grace Slick’s power; mix them thoroughly, and add a big gob of gooey molasses and you have Rae Gordon’s voice” … – Positively Entertainment and Dining
She has played the big and little stages of northwest’s favorite clubs, dance floors and festivals helping to mold a signature sound that spans from a danceable get up and groove to a haunting slide tone that will make you want to find a back porch and sit a spell. Rae enjoys playing intimate venues where she can connect one on one with people in the audience to large festivals where she can connect with a whole community. Her style and approachability hasn’t been contained in the northwest only, with performances in Montana, Nevada, Memphis, California and back.
