REQUIRED BY ALL VENDORS: All merchant vendors must provide proof of insurance. If you do not have insurance you can purchase special event insurance (one time only) from www.actinspro.com for $39.00. If accepted, vendor must include payment in full for space rental, payable to Ventura County Blues Society, and a certificate of General Liability Insurance with limits of not less than $1 million combined single limit, bodily injury, and property damage and naming Ventura County Blues Society, Studio Channel Islands Art Center and Pleasant Valley School District, as additional insured.

General Information

  • Applications are accepted on a first come first served basis. Spaces are limited.
  • Vendor spaces are 10’ x 10’. If you require more space, you must reserve two spaces.
  • Cost: $150.00 per space
  • Booths must be set up by 9:00 a.m., April 30th, and may not be taken down prior to 7:30 p.m
  • Vendors MUST supply their own tables, chairs and canopies.
  • There is no electric power available for merchant vendors.
  • A maximum of two (2) admission passes will be distributed to each vendor. If you require more than two persons to work your booth, admission tickets are available for purchase.
  • Ventura County Blues Society reserves the right to refuse space to any vendor.
  • Booth locations on the day of the event are assigned on a first-come, first-served basis.
  • No booth sharing.
  • No vendor generators will be allowed.
  • No alcohol beverages for personal use allowed at vendor booth.
  • Fees are non-refundable.

HOLD HARMLESS: In consideration of being permitted by the Ventura County Blues Society, Studio Channel Islands Art Center and Pleasant Valley School District, to participate in the Ventura County Blues Festival, I hereby waive, release and discharge any and all claims for damages for personal injury, death or property damage which I may have or which I may hereafter accrue to me as a result of participation in said activity. This release is intended to discharge in advance the aforementioned organizations and event sponsors, volunteers, employees and agents from any and all liability arising out of or connected in any way with my participation in said activity, even though that liability may arise out of negligence or risk and danger of accidents, and knowing those risks, I hereby assume those risks. It is further agreed that this waiver release and assumption of risk is to be binding on my heirs and assigns. I agree to indemnify and hold the above persons or entities free and harmless from any loss, liability, damage, cost or expense which may incur as a result of my death or any injury or property damage that I may sustain while participating in said activity. I also understand that space fees are nonrefundable. I understand this is an outdoor event and that the Ventura County Blues Festival will not accept responsibility for goods damaged due to inclement weather. I further understand that this is a rain or shine event and no refunds will be granted due to weather. In addition, I understand the vendors must make their own decision to set up or not to set up their display. Registered vendors must be 18 years of age or older.
